Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the sheet set?
Our sheet set includes (1) fitted sheet and (2) pillowcases (Standard size cases for Queen size sheet set and King size cases for King size sheet set). We offer fitted sheets alone because we find many customers prefer not to use a flat/top sheet. However, you can choose to add one on if you’d like! You can find the flat/top sheet under the You May Also Like section. We aim to make our sets customizable to reduce product waste.

What is the texture of Eucalyptus Lyocell (also known as Tencel)?
Eucalyptus features a shiny, luminous finish at first. Once washed, the finish becomes a bit less shiny while maintaining a luxurious, soft, cooling feel.

What are all of the benefits of Eucalyptus Lyocell material?
There are many benefits of Eucalyptus Lyocell material, including softness and durability, naturally cooling properties, sustainability, hygienic antimicrobial properties, breathability, hair and skin-friendliness, smoothness and luxurious shine, and anti-static properties.

What is the difference between cotton sheets and Eucalyptus Lyocell sheets?
Cotton requires more water and energy in order to be produced than Eucalyptus Lyocell. It is also less sustainable to harvest and has a lower absorbance or moisture-wicking capability. And while cotton, particularly Pima or other high thread count varieties feels luxurious, it often takes rounds of washing and time to soften the material to the desired comfort level. Eucalyptus Lyocell, on the other hand, begins silky and soft and requires much less water and energy for production, making it a more environmentally friendly material. The cooling feeling, moisture-wicking capabilities, and natural antimicrobial properties also make Eucalyptus Lyocell an attractive bedding material.

What is the thread count of your sheets?
We do not focus on thread count as a primary quality indicator for our bedding, as it is a myth that higher thread counts are consistent with higher quality sheets, and the guidelines for thread count have not been formally outlined by the FTC. Not all materials use thread count as a primary measurement, and that is the case for our Eucalyptus Lyocell fabric. We focus on other components, such as sustainability, production quality, softness, and comfort as quality markers, and put our energy into creating the best possible bedding products that meet these standards. Further, thread count for non-cotton materials isn’t comparable to the thread count of cotton. So, our 300 thread count Eucalyptus Lyocell bedding is comparable to 1,000 thread count percale cotton bedding.

What is the weave of your sheets?
Our Eucalyptus Lyocell bedding is a sateen weave.

What makes your eucalyptus material sustainable?
Our materials are sourced in small batches and farmed responsibly in Central Europe, specifically Austria, and are certified to FSC® and PEFC™ sustainability standards. They are manufactured through a closed-loop process using organic solvents to ensure safety and sustainability through re-use.

What is the measurement of your Standard pillowcase vs. your King pillowcase?
Our Standard/Queen cases measure at 29x20 (inches) and our King cases measure at 36x20 (inches). These cases do have envelope closures.

What colors do you offer? Can they be mixed?
We offer a variety of neutral shades and a few pops of color. The eight color range includes Snow (white), Ivory (off-white), Fog (taupe), Dove (light gray), Pebble (dark gray), Blush (pale pink), Sky (pale blue), and Forest (deep green). Our colors mix and match well with each other, and many customers like to pair one color sheet set with a bolder color duvet. We encourage creativity!

Can I use this bedding if I am allergic to eucalyptus?
Yes, absolutely. Our sheets are free of fragrance and eucalyptus oil, meaning they do not include the components that cause or aggravate allergies. This bedding’s material is made using wood pulp, making it safe for those with allergies to the leaves or oils.

Are Eucalyptus sheets safe for pets?
Yes, our sheets are safe and pet-friendly. Our bedding does not include eucalyptus oils or fragrance, which is the component that is unsafe for pets.
